At Whitehorne, we offer professional and highly experienced one-on-one consulting sessions to researchers in the areas of:

• ERC Grant readiness (review of full CV and proposal idea) with feedback and coaching on areas for strengthening and further development.

• Grant CV development, feedback and review and areas for strengthening

• Grant submission strategies (when to best apply to ERC) 

• Grant proposal concept development and refinement

• Grant proposal content elements and level of detail required

• Grant resubmissions and analysing reviewer reports

• High-level feedback on previous proposal submissions and suggestions for improvement

• Strategy development and coaching for Lead PIs when preparing  collaborative grant submissions

• Grant proposal interview preparation: dealing with sore points, insecurities and fears

• Grant proposal time management

Depending on the nature of the consulting service you are needing and what work is required from us, sessions will either be offered as individual one-hour sessions, or a package price (if we need to undertake and review any work/documentation prior to a consulting session (i.e read/analyse reviewers reports or previous submission).

WHO WILL APPLICANTS BE WORKING WITH
You will work directly with us, either Fire or Willem, both qualified and highly experienced senior consultants and trainers. Both Willem and Fire have experience working with all panels and areas of research, and have worked with numerous applicants and institutions throughout around Europe and beyond.

We have over 15 years (specifically) working on European, Dutch, German, Swiss and other national research grant proposals - and over 25 years experience with scientific promotion cases, research grant applications, interview training, review and editing of high impact research journal articles and writing nominations for prestigious prizes and awards. We specialise in what we do and offer.
